Frequently Asked Questions

  • After booking your session, we can discuss what outfits might best suit the location of the shoot, keeping in mind what you're looking for from your photoshoot. It's best to wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident

  • It may be good to bring an extra change of clothes and jewelry in case your outfit of choice doesn't work well. If you choose to wear make-up, bring some extra for touch-ups. You can also bring a hairbrush or comb and some extra styling products.

  • I completely relate to feeling camera shy! If you want some help with posing, I have some techniques to help those who feel uncomfortable in front of the camera. I value you feeling comfortable and safe during the session and can help by directing you through natural movements rather than making you pose awkwardly.

  • I will be here to hype you up, but in a calm way! I will be sure to make you feel safe and unrushed throughout the process! If you love to chat, I am an open ear. In a portrait photoshoot, my goal is that you feel comfortable and light by the end. If you prefer to have guidance during your photoshoot, you will be directed through prompts. If there are any specific images that you want to capture, those images will be the top priority. In a wedding, my goal is that you are able to stay present throughout one of the most memorable moments of your life. As your photographer, I will stay out of the way as much as possible while being sure to capture the most important moments of the day. If there is anything you prefer from me as your photographer, just let me know!

  • You will receive your photos through a link to an online gallery

  • No, because my finished product is the high-resolution, edited, print-ready jpeg. When I take a photo, I choose the settings based on my plan for how I will edit that photo. Editing the photos is part of my service, just like getting your pup spruced up at the groomers vs. buying the shampoo from the groomers and grooming Fido yourself (assuming you're not a professional dog groomer yourself).
